Defining Citizen Journalism
What does citizen journalism have in common with Thomas Paine and his 1776 pamphlet, Common Sense? Pamphlets were an alternative form of publishing, guerrilla-style journalism. Today's citizen journalist on the Internet is a logical extension of that need to speak out in new ways.
