Surgeon General: One Cigarette is One Too Many
Surgeon General Regina Benjamin has released her first report on tobacco smoke, and the main message? One cigarette is one too many.
Class discussion: The video also states that "approximately 40 million Americans are smokers today -- one in five adults -- and estimates put the number of premature deaths due to tobacco use at more than 400,000 a year." That number seems surprisingly high. How many of the people you know smoke? What will it take for them to stop?
