Activities:
1. Draw a backpack on a piece of paper. On it, paste newspaper words and pictures of school items for Save the Children students who can’t go to school. Don’t include anything that needs electricity.
2. Find five people in your newspaper whose skills could help Save the Children. Explain your choices.
3. In your newspaper, circle medical supplies that would help in Save the Children countries.
4. How has Save the Children helped students in (a) Uganda, (b) Liberia, (c) Syria and (d) Kentucky in 1932?
5. Find a place or situation in your community where you could help children. Explain what you could do to help.
