Activities:
1. Make gray wolf trading cards. Paste or draw pictures of wolves on one side of a card. On the other side, write a fact about gray wolves.
2. With a friend, circle words in your newspaper that describe wolves. Who found the most words?
3. Collect newspaper pictures of mammals. Paste herbivores on one piece of paper. Paste carnivores on another piece.
4. How are these important to gray wolves: (a) Yellowstone, (b) howling, (c) packs and (d) diversity?
5. Write a story about a week in the life of a young gray wolf from the point of view of the wolf.
