Activities:
1. Create your ideal fashion look. Paste newspaper pictures of clothing, shoes and accessories on a piece of paper. Explain your choices.
2. In your newspaper, circle pictures of clothing you would choose for different friends. Write the friends’ names on the pictures.
3. What do these fashions say about their times: (a) lace collars, (b) flowers and bright fabrics, (c) short, fringy dresses, and (d) panniers?
4. Interview a grandparent or older friend about the clothing they wore when they were young. Write a paragraph comparing their clothing and yours.
