Activities:
1. Draw a picture of Sparky on a poster. Paste newspaper pictures of fire - safe items around your picture
2. In the newspaper, circle items that help with fire prevention, such as smoke alarms, home fire extinguishers, etc.
3. Draw a floor plan of your house. In each room, write what you can do keep the room fire - safe.
4. In the newspaper, find fire-safe recommendations to (a) build a house, (b) make a jack-o’-lantern, (c) display a Christmas tree and (d) cook outdoors.
5. Draw a comic strip of Sparky teaching other children about fire safety.
