Ed Stein
Ed Stein has been the editorial cartoonist for the Rocky Mountain News since 1978. His internationally syndicated cartoons have appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times, US News and World Report, and Playboy. Stein has won a number of awards for his cartooning, including the 1999 Scripps Howard Foundation National Journalism Award for Editorial Cartooning.

Mike Keefe
Mike Keefe has been the editorial cartoonist for The Denver Post since 1975.
He won top awards in: The Fischetti editorial cartoon competition (1991), the National Headliners Club (1986), and the Society of Professional Journalists (1986). Keefe lives with his wife, two children, a dog, a parakeet, several deceased tropical fish, and 73 harmonicas in Evergreen, Colorado at 8,000 feet above sea level. He tries to take a nap every day.
