Etta Hulme

Etta Hulme, one of the few female cartoonists in America, has been the editorial cartoonist for The Fort Worth Star-Telegram since 1972. Her first editorial cartoons appeared in 1954 in the Texas Observer while she was living in Austin.

The cartoon Australians consider the best and most famous in the world features two workmen hanging in the air from a steel girder, one by the pants of the other, pulling them down.
