The Law of Attraction

Recently, the Oprah Winfrey show presented two shows on the Law of Attraction featured through "The Secret." (The dates of those shows were February 8th and 16th.) The response to her original February show was so overwhelming she put on the second one eight days later.
My family was very fortunate at Christmas time when my wonderful daughter, Shannon, gave myself, her brother and her grandparents the DVD of this outstanding program. It has very much made a major impact on all of our lives and the lives of our loved ones!
I have taught the Law of Attraction for the last twenty years to teens and young adults along with many other key principles that support it. The great thing I learned on The Secret (www.thesecret.tv) allowed me to further close the gaps and improve how I coach these methods.
The principle behind the Law of Attraction is this, we inevitably attract those people, things and circumstances into our lives based on our dominant thoughts and the feelings those thoughts bring about. As we think, so we attract! We become what we think about!
Over time, this powerful principle acts like a magnet to bring what we want into our life. A key concept within the Law of Attraction is continually focus on what we want to occur and keep our minds off of what we don't want. Too many people do the opposite with various fears, worries, etc.
As I have written in earlier articles, the Hollywood/ Entertainment field, fashion industry and other related areas continually give the impression that happiness lies in material things, outside glitz, self-centered bling, bling, etc. This is just a formula for a life of misery and unhappiness due to focusing on the wrong models in our lives. They truly do not care about the black, white, yellow, brown or red kids, they only focus on the GREEN (as in money) and how they can pull as much out of them as possible while taking them down a losing pathway.
Helping our teens and young adults understand the importance of this powerful law will go a long way in improving their odds of success and happiness in their lives! I encourage you to look into this wonderful program for yourself, your families and loved ones. It will be life-changing!
