Internet Addiction in Teens Linked to Depression
A new study published in the Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine suggests that teens who use the Internet obsessively are much more likely to suffer depression. But experts are still unsure which comes first - depression or Internet addiction.
■Class discussion: Do you think you or your classmates spend too much time on the Internet? Are you happier when you're surfing Facebook or websites? What about spending too much time texting? Would that also be considered an addiction?
