New study says users spend more time on Facebook than Google

A study reports users spent more time on Facebook in August than on all Google-owned sites combined -- including YouTube.

■Class discussion: It's interesting that even YouTube seems to be fading in the Facebook era. Do you agree that you spend more time social networking than searching or watching videos these days? Is there some way you can count time on Facebook as somehow productive? Can you form an argument that claims time spent on Facebook is a good thing rather than a waste of time?
