Just over a year ago, NASA sent two probes to crash into the moon, hoping to find water under the surface. What they found was not just some water, but maybe enough to support a manned mission.
■Class discussion: The video points out that "The US has no plans to visit the moon. President Obama cancelled the mission to go there." Does it bother you that China or India might get to the move before we get a chance to revisit it? Again, according to the reports on the video, "both countries have pledged to reach the moon in the next 15 years." Should we make space travel a higher priority? What's more important?
