This week's word in the news: CAPSULE

DEFINITION:
A capsule is a structure that contains something else, such as medicine. A space capsule is a spacecraft that uses a blunt-body vehicle to reenter the Earth's atmosphere without wings.


FOUND IN THE NEWS:
It’s taken six years to forge SpaceX and NASA’s Commercial Crew Program, and on Sunday at 2:48 p.m., a capsule containing astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley splashed down off the coast of Pensacola.
