C. Dr. Peter Stafford was released from a Berlin hospital isolation unit nearly two weeks ago. He was infected while operating on a patient just days before the Ebola outbreak was confirmed. His wife, also a doctor, and their young children were monitored in Germany while Stafford was being treated there.
