Activities:
1. Make a “Yuck, Lice!” poster. Paste newspaper words that describe lice on your poster.
2. In the newspaper, circle people or places where lice like to go. Explain why lice like those people and places.
3. Cut out newspaper photos of items you should not share with others. Paste them on a piece of paper. Explain why you shouldn’t share those items.
4. How are these related to lice: (a) nits, (b) clean hair, (c) pets and (d) long hair?
5. Make a brochure to teach your friends about head lice. Include what lice are and why they like heads, how to avoid head lice, and what to do if you want to avoid head lice.
