NIE provides the Tampa Bay Times and related educational resources to schools at no cost to schools, teachers or families through sponsor and subscriber support.

Corporate sponsorship

Corporate sponsorship allows you to promote your organization with the largest daily newspaper in the southeastern United States while supporting local educators, students and schools.

NIE offers a wide variety of program and publication sponsorship opportunities tailored to each sponsor's goals and objectives.

Publication Sponsorship
NIE offers partners the opportunity to sponsor an educational supplement for use in the classroom. Each sponsor works with NIE to select an appropriate supplement subject that complies with Florida's Next Generation Sunshine State Standards, write and design the publication and choose distribution options. NIE publications may have one or multiple sponsors.

Publication sponsors receive the following benefits:

NIE print publications can be inserted into the Tampa Bay Times, tbt*, and/or tb-two in one, several, or all of the six Tampa Bay counties in which home delivery is available. The sponsor chooses the day and date of insertion.

All NIE publications - both print and electronic - can be delivered to any combination of grade level students in public and private schools in the Tampa Bay area.

NIE publications can also be delivered to any combination of grade level students in public and private schools throughout the state of Florida (67 counties) through Florida Press Educational Services, Inc..

All supplements are made available for continuing teacher order and are promoted by NIE. All sponsorship levels also include an overrun of the publication (or, for electronic-only publications, a high-resolution PDF file) for the partner's use.

Program Sponsorship
NIE also offers program, event and feature sponsorship opportunities.

Program, event and feature sponsors may receive the following benefits, depending on sponsorship level:
